New in our assortment – Burgol Waterproofing Spray

In the last few months we have taken the time to analyze our assortment and have asked many customers about it. The result shows a few gaps in the assortment and the need for innovative products.

For the new Burgol products we are investing a lot of time. We only produce the first samples when our specifications are met. We first test them extensively at our premises and then have them tested by a few customers.

The new Burgol Waterproofing Spray

Waterproofing spray is used almost inflationary today. It is rarely necessary for well-cared smooth leather shoes. Our Burgol Shoe Wax usually provides sufficient protection against moisture for the usual wearing habits of shoes.

However, for suede shoes it is the means of choice to protect the leather from moisture and dirt.

Caring properties for suede shoes

While smooth leather is cared for by Burgol Shoe Pomade, the application of caring substances is hardly possible with suede leather.

With jojoba oil we added nourishing and caring properties to our waterproofing spray, which is particularly beneficial for suede leather shoes.

Indoor use

Another point of our specifications was that the waterproofing spray does not require any propellant gas. Sprays with propellant gas should not be used indoor because of their large mist. The danger is too great that the spray is inhaled and settles on surfaces in the apartment.

The challenge was to find the balance between fine spray and low mist. With our mechanical spray head we succeeded in creating a fine spray which can be sprayed on the shoes in a targeted manner and is fine enough to penetrate the leather.
